{"id":6382,"date":"2022-08-22T10:00:01","date_gmt":"2022-08-22T08:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greenalia.es\/?post_type=greenalia_news&#038;p=6382"},"modified":"2024-04-11T12:19:16","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T10:19:16","slug":"greenalias-two-main-shareholders-execute-bme-growth-delisting-bid","status":"publish","type":"greenalia_news","link":"https:\/\/greenalia.es\/en\/articles\/greenalias-two-main-shareholders-execute-bme-growth-delisting-bid\/","title":{"rendered":"Greenalia&#8217;s two main shareholders execute BME Growth delisting bid"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>Now that the transaction has been completed, the two majority shareholders have increased their stake to 100% of the capital, 94% controlled by Manuel Garc\u00eda, through Smarttia, and 6% by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Castellano, through Alazady. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Greenalia thus enters a new private development phase, having successfully achieved the objectives set out in its MAB (BME Growth) IPO Project in 2017.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In these years, the company has increased its value sevenfold, reaching 388 million euros. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Greenalia&#8217;s majority shareholders &#8211; Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Castellano, Chairman of the company, and Manuel Garc\u00eda, founder and main shareholder &#8211; finalise the BME Growth delisting tender offer process, after a successful close of the entire transaction.<\/p>\n<p>Following this process, which began with the offer launched on 3 May after the Board of Directors&#8217;s approval, the two majority shareholders who already held 81.2% (Manuel Garc\u00eda through Smarttia) and 5.2% (Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Castellano through Alazady) now control 100% of the company&#8217;s capital. In this way, the shareholder&#8217;s meeting is now distributed 94% for Smarttia (Manuel Garc\u00eda&#8217;s company) and 6% controlled by Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Castellano (Alazady).<\/p>\n<p>This transaction is part of the company&#8217;s desire to initiate its new Strategic Plan for the coming years, once the objectives of the project with which it was floated on the MAB in 2017 have been met.
