The renewable energy company Greenalia has signed an agreement to support Dépor in the signing of the soccer player Lucas Pérez, in a further demonstration of the company’s commitment to the Galician community. On this occasion, it does so through the support of a sporting reference that, with his return to the Galician team, shows the prevalence of personal values and a dream, the return of his team to the First Division. A goal to which Greenalia hopes to contribute with this support.
Lucas Perez will have the individual sponsorship of Greenalia on his RC Deportivo shirt with the number 7 during the 22/23 season, a stage that “we hope will be an incentive to get at least two Galician teams back in the First Division. We are convinced that Lucas Pérez will be pure energy for Dépor and, for this reason, at Greenalia we want to contribute to this”, said the Director of Sustainability and Corporate Development, Beatriz Mato, at the presentation, while highlighting the generosity and dedication of Lucas Pérez in an unprecedented gesture in the soccer world.
In Greenalia, stressed the CEO of the company, Manuel García, “we are proud of our origins and of our team that also has great professionals who, like Lucas, decided to put their land before their successful professional careers in multinationals outside this community and bet on a 100% Galician project also giving up, in many cases, better conditions and recognition to achieve the dream of creating a great company in their place of origin, Galicia.”
Greenalia is an independent energy producer exclusively with renewable technologies. The company uses only wind, sun and forest biomass, from the remains of certified plantations, to generate and store electricity in harmony with nature, providing employment and innovation in the areas where it operates. Greenalia is headquartered in A Coruña and operates in Europe (Iberian Peninsula and Canary Islands) and the USA.
